In efforts to conserve water, the District is participating in the Mojave Water Agency’s Cash for Grass program. You may encounter variances in the condition of the turf in the following areas: Lime Street Park, Hesperia Community Park, and Palm Street Park. These areas are a part of the landscape conversion project.

Lime Street Park & Community Center
Lime Street Park has a picnic and barbeque shelter area for party gatherings and events, swimming pool, ball fields, skate plaza and a playground. The community center is home to our District offices and has rooms available for rent for those looking to celebrate a wedding, seminar, anniversary, party or a meeting.

Rick Novack Community Center and Palm Street Park
Dedicated to long time board member and community leader Rick Novack, the Community Center has a gymnasium, dance studio and assembly rooms, which are available for parties and meetings. Class / sport registrations can be done at this facility.

Percy Bakker Community Center
Hesperia Recreation and Park District’s Percy Bakker Community Center offers one of the most elegant settings throughout the High Desert for special occasions.

John Swisher Community Center
Hesperia Recreation and Park District’s John Swisher Community Center, located at Hesperia Lake, offers a unique and innovative setting for your next event.

Epicentre
The Epicentre is primarily a facility for Hesperia Teens ages 13 to 17 (Hesperia School District I.D. Required). The Epicentre is also home to several of our contract classes and sports programs.

Hesperia BMX
Hesperia BMX is located next to Live Oak Park. The track is open on Wednesday and Saturday evenings.

Hesperia Civic Plaza Park
Hesperia Civic Plaza Park offers a playground, bocce ball courts, a QR fit trail and is a popular spot for many local events.

Hesperia Community Park
Hesperia Community Park is home to 8 baseball/softball fields.

Live Oak Park
Live Oak Park has baseball fields picnic areas, a playground, and is the home of Hesperia BMX.

Malibu Park
Malibu Park includes a playground, a sheltered picnic area, and the baseball/soccer fields and basketball courts west of the playground after school hours and on weekends.

Maple Park
Maple Park is a soccer field-based park, open to the public.
Timberlane Park
At Timberlane Park, you will find a playground, picnic areas, and baseball fields.
Harrison Exhibit Center
The Harrison Exhibit Center is now open with its exhibit, “History of Hesperia and the Surrounding Valley.” The exhibit will be open Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The Harrison Center is located at 16367 Main Street.
